The largest biker rally in the state of Texas is set for June 13 through 16, 2013, at the Travis County Expo Center in Austin. According to rotrally.com, the official website of the Republic of Texas Biker Rally (ROT), there are 130 acres on site, and more than 250 acres of park surround the site adjacent to Decker Lake.
From its beginnings in 1995 with the first rally, the event has shown steady growth through the years and has become the largest turnstile rally in the U.S. The Texas Biker Rally is the fourth largest rally of any type in America.
The ROT Rally has evolved into a blend of all the best Sturgis and Daytona have to offer the motorcycle enthusiast — a combination hill country biking and party event.
ROT Military Bike Giveaway
A one-of-a-kind Republic of Texas theme chopper built especially for the ROT Rally this year by Danny Koker, the Count of Count’s Kustoms, will be won by some lucky U.S. serviceman or woman. The chopper was built on an episode of Counting Cars that aired on the History Channel. A bike is given away every year as a way of honoring U.S. servicemen and women for their service to our country.
ROT Rally 2013 — Classic Cars and Hot Rods
More than 100 vehicles, model years prior to 1980, will be displayed this year at what has become one of the most popular ROT Rally attractions, including the ever-popular muscle cars along with vintage trucks, classic cars, restomods, and hot rods. There will also be on display vehicles represented by official car clubs like ATO Austin Thunderbirds, Austin Lowriding, Capitol City Thunderbirds, Central Texas Chevy Club, Friday Night Lights, and Amphicar. The show will be on June 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Special thanks for support of the ROT Rally go to the city fathers, county commissioners, and local officials of Austin and Travis County.
