AMA Members Enjoy Unique Benefits at the Inaugural G.P. of the Americas
As reported by Cycle World, according to a press release from the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA), special member benefits are being granted to AMA members who attend the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas. The MotoGP will be at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas on April 19th through April 21st, 2013.
This year marks the 64th year of the MotoGP, which was started in 1949 by the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme as a World Championship. The event is broadcast in over 200 countries and territories. MotoGP events are received as live or delayed same-day broadcasts. The event is seen in more than 337 million homes across the globe.
Geoff Moore, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer of Circuit of the Americas, said that he thinks it is perfectly fitting that American Motorcyclist Association members be able to enjoy unique benefits while they are at the MotoGP. He called AMA members America’s most dedicated motorcyclists. They bring their own unique brand of passion to any event they participate in, whether it is a track event or an amateur event to raise money for charitable causes on the local level. Moore called the benefits offered to AMA members a way to thank bikers for their support of the basic rights of those who enjoy riding motorcycles and of the American Motorcyclist Association itself.
AMA members receive half-price VIP parking for their bikes. They will also be participating in a free-of-charge special pit walk on Friday, April 19th. AMA members should call (512) 301-6600, the Circuit of the Americas’ hotline, request the AMA ticket package, and provide their AMA number.
