The arrest was made at 1:37 AM on January 6. Gibson plays roles in “Dharma and Greg,” “Chicago Hope,” and “Criminal Minds.” Officer Cleon Joseph told AP that Gibson drove through a barricade. The barricade had been put in place in order to prevent vehicles from entering the course where a nighttime half-marathon race had taken place downtown. When the police walked up to Gibson’s vehicle, they detected the odor of alcohol. Gibson refused to take a breathalyzer test.
Gibson was arrested at 11th Street and Grand Avenue in L.A and was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence. Officer Joseph stated that the 50-year-old Gibson was booked and released on $15,000 bail.
